Halloween: The Game Platforms & Editions Guide
Choose the Digital Standard Edition for the base game at $39.99, or the Digital Deluxe Edition at $59.99 for Advance Access, two extra Civilians, the Inmate skin, and the comic. Physical Standard and Limited Collector’s Editions arrive October 6 on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Start here
- Pick a digital edition if you need to play on September 8; physical editions are dated October 6.
- Pick Digital Deluxe if the two extra Civilians, cosmetics, comic, and Advance Access justify the $20 difference for you.
- Pick Physical Standard for the disc and poster at $39.99, or Collector’s for the limited physical extras at $149.99.
- Treat Phantom as a time-limited digital pre-order skin; do not buy Deluxe solely expecting that skin to remain purchasable after launch.

Digital Standard vs. Digital Deluxe
The official pre-order page prices Digital Standard at $39.99 and Digital Deluxe at $59.99. Standard includes the base game and the ten launch Civilians listed in the character announcement.
Deluxe adds the Inmate Michael Myers skin, Richard and Alexis as exclusive Civilian characters, the Halloween comic, and Advance Access. The official FAQ says a Deluxe upgrade is available at launch for the character and skin extras; the Digital pre-order Phantom skin is a separate limited bonus.
Physical editions
Physical Standard and Limited Collector’s Editions launch October 6 on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Physical Standard is $39.99 and includes a Clown Michael skin, two Civilian cosmetics, and a poster.
Collector’s is $149.99 and adds the Samhain skin, four Civilian cosmetics, a Shape Jump variant action figure, lenticular art, and other listed surprises. The physical-editions notice says the game is on the disc.
Advance Access and cosmetic access
Advance Access refers to an unlock window or cosmetic access tied to the edition, depending on the item. Digital Deluxe granted early play from September 4; the physical notice uses Advance Access for cosmetics that can also be earned through in-game challenges.
Read the item description you are buying. Do not treat every “Advance Access” label as a second game launch or as permanent exclusive content.
Platform and regional checks
The official launch notice lists PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Confirm the storefront in your region before purchase, especially for physical stock and any mixed-platform party.
This page does not infer crossplay or Australian availability from a store badge. Use the current support page or regional storefront for those decisions.
