Build Bloodthirst before the commit

The official multiplayer overview confirms that Stalk identifies and tracks residents and opens stronger execution options as it builds. Treat the first sighting as reconnaissance: learn the target’s route, nearby cover, and the nearest escape line before you attack.

A clean execution is worth more than a noisy chase. If Heroes see you early, break the line of sight and return through a different dark entry instead of sprinting through a lit street.

Control darkness and sightlines

Shape Jump increases movement speed and lets Michael move unseen through shadow. The official rule is strict: enter and exit it in darkness or outside a resident’s line of sight. Use a light switch, a blackout, a side yard, or a house interior to create that window.

Do not burn every blackout at the start. Save one interruption for the moment Heroes are escorting a resident or beginning an escape; that is when a short visibility change turns into a completed kill.

Fight only for a larger result

Residents, authorities, and Heroes can gather weapons and force Michael down temporarily. The counterplay creates time, not a permanent defeat. When you are downed, recover as soon as the prompt appears and leave the area before a second weapon cycle begins.

The current hotfix specifically fixed cases where the get-up prompt did not appear after Michael was downed. If you still see that symptom, verify the game is patched before treating it as a strategy problem.

Special Targets and rotation

The official multiplayer overview says each match starts with Special Targets that provide greater rewards when killed before time expires. Prioritize one when it is on your route; do not abandon a nearly completed resident kill for a distant marker if that gives Heroes a free escape.

The useful rotation is target → evidence control → next target. Current gameplay observation also reports hiding bodies and breaking phones as ways to delay a call for help; use those as observed tactics, not as a promise that every object behaves identically on every platform.
